So we are half way through the season. Another good win for the Badgers who are starting to play well as a team and focusing individual talent on what the team needs to do well.
We had only ten badgers today which means I had to take the field. I hope that, after Christmas, some of the less frequent team members can have a bigger share of the enjoyment of playing for a successful Badgers team.
Today's game saw great performances from Josh Appleby with his vision and positioning and Zac Minchin with his pace. These two proved a deadly combination in the first half to share the spoils of assists and goals, and to kill off Yardley's chances of a result. The accolade of assist seems to be almost more important to this group of Badgers than the goal scored, when you talk to them.
