Thank you to everyone who helped out at Bournville Festival and to Elodie for all her hard work beforehand. We raised £83.50 with our hockey take on ten pin bowling.
We met a lady called Dilys who used to play for the club 40 years ago and remembers Tom Jones umpiring matches. Apparently they used to work together! Another lady gave us a photo from 1907 of the first hockey international to be played in Bournville.
Hopefully we've convinced some festival goers to join the club too!
We've got a stall at CoCoMad in Cotteridge this coming Saturday (July 2nd). Anyone with an hour to spare to help man/woman the stall would be greatly appreciated.
