Welcome to Bournville Ladies

Our 3rd team plays in Warwickshire Friendly League. Our home pitch is at King Edwards VI Girls School.

All women's teams train on a Tuesday evening during the hockey season at King Edwards VI Girls School opposite the University of Birmingham. Training for the 2018/19 season starts Tuesday 11th September. Training starts at 7.30pm and finishes at 9pm. We are located on the furthest of the two astro-turfs. Our sessions are about having fun, improving our fitness and practising skills ahead of matches on Saturday.

Back to Hockey

We're always looking to welcome new players and pride ourselves on being an inclusive bunch. Whether you've played before and are looking for a welcoming club or want to try out a new sport, this is a great opportunity to get into the game.

This year's Back to Hockey is on Tuesday evenings starting on Tuesday 17th July. It will run for 6 weeks at King Edwards Girls School, Park Vale Drive, Birmingham B5 7SP. Please arrive at 6.45pm for a prompt 7pm start.

In the sessions you will be introduced to the game by mixing in some skills with small sided game play. The emphasis is on a friendly and relaxed environment without the pressure to perform. It’s also a great opportunity to get fitter.
