ROLES
- Pay the bills and record information
- Keep up to date records of all financial transactions
- Ensure that all cash and cheques are promptly deposited in the bank
- Ensure that funds are spent properly
- Prepare a year end statement of accounts to present to the Auditors
- Arrange for the statement of accounts to be audited
- Produce an annual budget
- Make sure that the club operates within the annual budget
- Report at Committee meetings and present an end of year financial report to the AGM
- Arrange for the collection of subscriptions and match fees and any other monies due to the Club
- Alongside the Secretary ensure see that all affiliation/registration/entry documents are accurate and are paid on time
- Prepare and submit any statutory documents that are required (e.g. VAT returns, PAYE and NI returns, grant aid reports)
