ROLES

  1. Pay the bills and record information
  2. Keep up to date records of all financial transactions
  3. Ensure that all cash and cheques are promptly deposited in the bank
  4. Ensure that funds are spent properly
  5. Prepare a year end statement of accounts to present to the Auditors
  6. Arrange for the statement of accounts to be audited
  7. Produce an annual budget
  8. Make sure that the club operates within the annual budget
  9. Report at Committee meetings and present an end of year financial report to the AGM
  10. Arrange for the collection of subscriptions and match fees and any other monies due to the Club
  11. Alongside the Secretary ensure see that all affiliation/registration/entry documents are accurate and are paid on time
  12. Prepare and submit any statutory documents that are required (e.g. VAT returns, PAYE and NI returns, grant aid reports)
